Easy and effective paint scheme for Iron Hands? Discussion Would anyone mind sharing a scheme which they found straightforward but effective? I've found a few online so far but they mostly involve an airbrush which isn't ideal! Then use black contrast paint with contrast medium like 3 to 1 mix. I then use that for a few coats. It gives it metallic black with metal highlights.

My recipe is Iron warriors from citadel (it's basically leadbelcher with nuln oil but as a paint colour). Then I mix nuln oil with abaddon black (any black is fine), citadel contrast black templar and some thinning medium (I use the lahmium medium from citadel) - you'll want this to be very watery - mix it all up and apply liberally to get that noice grim dark vibe.
